Apple Wins the Minds of High-Tech Professionals

Scientists, engineers, software engineers and programmers, and other high-tech workers in the U.S. think that Apple is the “most technologically advanced” company, based on a nationwide online survey of 1,582 high-tech professionals. Google comes in second and Microsoft third. The survey was conducted by the Technology Advisory Board® (www.technologyadvisoryboard.com), an online panel of technology professionals who are paid to take part in technology surveys. The top-10 “most technologically advanced” companies are shown below.

Apple is reaping the brand-image benefits of its invasion and conquest of the smartphone market. “Most technologically advanced” is largely a hidden brand-image dimension and, therefore, especially valuable in silently promoting the acceptance of all Apple products. Apple is winning the war for the minds of the technology world.
